grip challengeThe first thing I did when I took the Grip Challenge TK out the box is challenge my co-workers to a friendly duel. It has a setting for max grip and we went of that. I pulled like 52 killos and the rest tried to keep up with me. But I can safely say I cheated a little for my main grip squize I used two hands and almost passed out from squeizing it so hard. They where like pulling 34 to 44 kilos and couldn’t get close to where I was at. I now constantly keep one at my desk and use it on a regular basis. Hopefuly pretty soon I will grip 52 kilos with one hand. In the meanwhile its a cool little stress reliever. I always either bought those squeeze exercise balls or archaic metal contraptions for my grip exercises. I really like grip exercised cause they can be done anywhere and I do not have to get off the couch. The Grip Challenge TK is available on sale for only $9.95 and if you order is above $50 you get free UPS ground shipping. The free shipping special is running til the end of the year but additional shipping fees are applied to extra large and bulky merchandise.

Bluetooth Handsfree Caller ID

I’m very impressed with the BLuetooth Handsfree Caller ID . It been a staple in my everyday routine. I commute with mine everyday and even on the weekends. I take it to the office and keep it on my desk during business hours. I even take if home in the evenings for my personal conversations. I’m totally handfree all the time . I don’t know if any of those cancer rumors about cell phones are true. I still do not want to risk it. But besides all that, I just do not like holding a headset. It just makes things a lot easier to multi task. Also Gadgetuniverse.com has it on sale for $79.95 .

Horizon Home Theater
I just got a new TV for my bedroom. I decided to get it mounted on the wall since it is a thin plasma television. After I got the mount and got it all hooked up its looked so sexy. But I hated that the wires for the surround system ruined the cleanliness of the installation. But I was very skeptical about getting and all in one. I found a new product from my friends at Gadgetuniverse.com . They have a new product called the Horizon Home Theater system. So I decided to give it a run for my money anyways. It took all but three minutes to take out the box and hook up. I connected it directly to the plasma by a toslink optical audio cable. So I turned on Snatch one of my favorite movies and started to play around with the sounds modes. I kept it all pretty basic and default just added a little bass. Before I knew it I was actually thinking how good is the sound coming out of the back speakers and though to myself wait I don’t have any surround speaker just this box below the TV. I do not know how they accomplished something so cool but it actually works. I heard of the Yamaha sound bar and the Bose system but both where way out of my price range. The Horizon Home Theater system only retail for $399.95 and worth every penny. Plus at first I was very skeptical about the quality of the system but It is very well made. I have expensive Polk Audio Speakers in the living room and the construction is on par with those which cost about the same per speaker as the Horizon Home Theater system. Plus I did not really care if it had it or not but it comes with a built in DVD player which made me happy because I did not need to run any more wires to the TV. I’m very happy with this system and think anyone in my position would be. So clean up those wires will ya.

BACK UP cAMERAThe Automotive Wireless Back-Up Camera and Object Sensor will be in Stock in around November 10th. Hurry and place your order soon the first shipment will only be 400 units and limited quantities for the Holidays. I can safely say that at least half of those are already spoken for. I wish I had this cool car gadget installed in my car earlier this week then maybe my fender bender may have been avoided. Now I have fun dealing with two insurance companies and an auto shop and an adjuster. The Automotive Wireless Back-Up Camera and Object Sensor would of allowed me to move out the way when I saw the guy approaching so fast and I would’ve been able to avoid the whole ordeal completely. Plus this is the only one that has back up sensor that will start beeping when are are too close to an object just like those $80k luxury cars. It is currently only $219.95 and can be pre-ordered on GadgetUniverse.com . Make sure you place your order quickly as stock is limited. I will guarantee this will be the hottest selling gadget for 2007 Holiday season.

Christmas Takes Flight This Holiday Season

What would be better Christmas morning than multiple flying contraptions in your living room? Yes that might not sound very entertaining to most adults but imagine the smiles it would bring to your children this Christmas. If its the Super Mini Fly-in-House Helicopter or its bigger brother the Eagle-Eye Radio-Controlled Helicopter . Or both of them. For all the adults in house you can get the bigger Dual-Blade Navigating Helicopter . But if he/she is like me and thinks she/hes’ James Bond on occasion he would love the R/C Car with 2.4 GHz Wireless Video Camera so he/she can spy on the neighbor’s or just harass the mailman (mail person lol) on a daily basis. GadgetUniverse.com has Holiday gifts starting at $40 for the small helicopter all the way up to $150 for the R/C car camera system. I know but family is getting lots of flying contraptions this Holiday. I think it would be fun watching my mom fly one of these things around it took her about a month to learn the Tivo remote.

p.s. I love how I’m so politically correct in this post.

Is Kevin Sorbo Going to Be The Next Bond?

Kevin SorboWell maybe not but I think he would do a great job. Kevin Sorbo has always been a huge fan of Gadget Universe products. Currently he has the iPlatform in his home gym. The last time I talked to him he said his whole family loves that machine . He is also a huge fan of Gravity Defyer Shoes….his favorite style is the Marseille . He mentioned that he can walk for hours on end without getting tired. You see him in the picture holding the Spion Orbitor Listening device. He thinks the device is so cool that you can listen up to 300 feet away but what makes this device unique is that you can record up to 120 seconds. No other listening device of this caliber can do that. He was also was amazed at the Spion Military Zoom Binoculars. We could actually see people homes in the Hollywood hills from the Roosevelt Hotel. Next time we will meet I will try to get the Steinhausen Beethoven Gold watch on him. I think he would love the masculinity and sophistication of this modern styled watch.

Gary Anthony Williams
I do not know if he really got excited when I gifted him the MP3 Voice Recorder or what. He seemed like a very professional and serious guy at first. But that just goes to show that every person still has a little playfulness in them. He loved all the stuff showcased at the Gift Suite . It took him awhile to decide whether he wanted the Home Theater Watch or the MP3 recorder. He loves the features of both but decided the voice recorder will provide a bigger benefit to his routine. Actors have lots of responsibilities to balance in their busy work schedules. Except if your Britney but thats a different story. When you see actors on the screen for even a couple of minutes you can rest assured that hours of work went into it. It was a huge pleasure meeting Gary and wish him the best on Boston Legal and his other future endeavors. Gary has been a busy guy appearing on shows like Malcolm in the Middle, The Boondocks, Reno 911, CSI, and countless others. Hopefuly Gary is putting the recorder to great use. Perhaps you will see some of Gadget Universe’s products with Gary on your favorite shows.

Do you have a large trunk? I need to put my bike into it.

Since Dr.Gadget will be featuring the Army Recon 21-Speed Foldable Mountain Bike on The View in a couple of weeks. I decided to let you guys know a little about this bike and my expirience with it.

It started to get warm and I need an outdoor hobby and decided to take up bike riding. Went to Costco and got an average mountain bike. I picked it up using my friends truck knowing it wont fit into my car. But then I though what is the point if it doesn’t fit into my car. I got the Army Recon 21-Speed Foldable Mountain Bike from gadgetuniverse.com instead. To solve my small car problem. The bike is really sturdy even for a big husky guy like me never had any issues with it unfolding. I take it to Venice beach at least a couple of times a week. Never really did some serious mountain biking with it but i think it will hold up just fine.

Last weekend I spent a whole lot of time in the presidential suite at the The Sofitel Hotel. It was sponsored by Alexander Innovation Wizard (scroll down for some history). The event was hosted by GBK productions and was for the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. The celebrities where gifted the G-Force MP4 Home Theater Watch and the Spion MP3 Voice recorder. There where many vendors there and had lots of cool stuff. Roberto Cavalli Vodka, Sky’s Gourmet Tacos, FP Jeans, Turn it On Designs, Mood Factory, Barbar Hair Care Products, and Zenspiration Gardens where just some of the vendors there. A big thanks should go to Sky’s Gourmet tacos for catering the event even thou I had only one taco and yes it was incredible. Yes they where long days filled no place to sit down and no breaks but the people there made it worth it and I’m not talking about the celebrities. The celebrities where great too. The photographer we had was awesome we did not miss any opportunities because he was always on point and ready to shot. Garet Fields Sells will be welcome with open arms in any event we will be at. Looking back it was a great experiences and I got to meet some stars of my favorite show lost.

Here are some pictures from there:

As promised here is some info on Alexander innovation Wizard:

It’s funny how much press these Gravity Defyer Shoes get. Everywhere I look there are more and more blogs, reviews, etc. I just searched Google for the shoes (results) and the information is overwhelming. Like Show-n-Tell, The Gadget Panel, TurboGadgets, and countless others have written reviews and given there opinions. Places like Gadget Universe, Skymall are spending lots of dough just to advertise these. So far they don’t have a celebrity endorsements or any large retail chains supporting the shoes. In my opinion thats just around the corner. You can view all the styles, sizes, and colors. Just follow this link. Also now they launched a brand new site just for the shoes check it out here

Got Some New Bling

dsc00237.JPG

Got a new watch from gadgetuniverse.com. I love this hockey puck size watch. I has one of the coolest automatic movements I’ve seen. It uses three hands each hand still represents the hour, minute, and second. It just uses 1/4 the dial to tell the time. I’m a big fan of large and unique watches which this one fits perfectly into. I have another watch from gadgetuniverse.com which combines two automatic movements into one watch. Every time I wear that watch I get numerous amounts of compliments. But the best one came from my uncle. He is a watch fanatic and has a large collection of really expensive watches. He looked it over and actually said you cannot buy a similar watch for even thousands more.

I Currently Own:

Stahlhammer Dual Time Automatic Quartz

Willenstark Automatic Watch

Beethoven Automatic Watch

I used to forget my watch like almost everyday. Then I remembered I had my 24 watch box somewhere hidden in my closet. I took it out and blam:dsc00234.JPG

Fear no more I will have the time from now on. I never used the box because I always had a couple of watches and didn’t really need all that space. I got a great deal on it so I bough the box. Thinking one day I will have the watch collection I dream of.

Categories: Shopping Sites, Work Related

Finally some other styles of the Gravity Defyer shoes have come in. You now have versions with laces and two other colors mocha and saddle. I’ll still stick with the triple black. But I do like the look of the Allessandro. These shoes are just on fire. I had mine on the other day because I knew I was going to do some walking. After walking the farmers market for a while I was really impressed that my calves did not hurt which they usually did. I don’t know about anyone else I’m sold on these and will recommend that everyone get a pair or two. Use code : SHOEPROMO to get 10% off and free shipping on the order from catalog page. But keep this between us no one knows I leaked that code. The offer is not even published anywhere yet. :-)

That Lucky Bastard Jaredude

My buddy jaredude got one of the coolest products I have seen in while. He got these wireless speakers from Brookstone. The idea was good and they sounded well in the store but the real test when we got them to his house. I was really amazed how two little speakers could sound so good and actually have some bass to them. Now I want a pair dammit but wont spend the $200 for them. Of course Jared got them for $100 cause he spent about an hour and a half flirting with the salesman person. I will post some videos or the performance on my YouTube account check it out. Also feel free to check out any of my other videos and leave comments thanks. Here are some pics of the sexy beasts.

cimg4979.JPG

Sorry for the blurry picture did not have much of a camera to work with. But here you go the newest LED clocks from Gadgetuniverse.com. There will be out sometime by June or July. I like these because they are very bright and are awesome for dark places and well as lit ones. Finally the LED’s are clear white and have a brilliant shine. I did not really care for the red or blue LED in prior models but still loved the clocks. Plus the bottom one has new features like day of the week, and alarm. They come in this glossy black case which looks very smooth. I’m definitely getting one of these for my pads once they come out. Make sure you get the latest Gadget Universe catalog here.

The Best Three Minutes of My Life (Sneak Peak)

Categories: Work Related

img_6639.jpg

I had a quick love affair with he newest sample at Gadgetuniverse.com. Its a roller massage chair with vibrating seat. It did the job very well and I felt a lot better after using it. It has a rolling and kneading function and the rollers are big enough. Plus the seat vibrates is you like that sort of thing. I’m not to sure if it made the cut. I hope it did in the budget massage chair category. I was looking for a massage chair for a while but most of them out of my price range and the others have only a vibrating function which I’m not very fond off. Look out for you latest Gadget Universe catalog to see if it comes out.

img_6607.jpgimg_6610.jpgimg_6615.jpg

Due to my connections @ Gadgetuniverse.com. I had a sneak peak at the newest Gravity Defyers. I’m not sure if all these puppies will make to the market but you see them here first. The first picture reminds me of super old school basketball like tight shorts and even tighter jerseys. The second pair is more like a mid top cross trainer which will be awesome for the gym. I could almost hear your knees begging for salvation. The last but not least pair is my favorite. It’s a black shoe with some insignia on it and looks like a skater shoe. My past expirience brings me to the conclusion that skater shoes where always comfortable but now with springs. Someone please pinch me!

Are You Smart Enough?

I think everything should be based on you IQ. I’m going to come off as big brother but hey I just needed to go there. Like being able to drink, have children, drive, vote, and even education. You will be tested and given licenses for all these things. Yes I know you already get licenses for driving but they never test your IQ. Just some people cannot be allowed to do everything. It would definitely cut down on accidents, alcohol related injuries and deaths, babies being throw in the trash, electing The Three Stooges as president, and principals dating or selling crack to their students. Just everyday when I see kids just running around in parking lots while their moms are chatting about whatever. I just wish she had a license for those kids and someone could come up and say ” Who’s watching your children while you are chatting”. Or like that guy who had his two year old stab his wife. Where are his licenses? I know it singles people out and whatnot, but I still think you are special and whats what really matters.

Military Zoom Binoculars

We do! 20×140 of it that is. This one serious set of glassware. Basically think of it a hand held telescope. These babies are powerful so powerful I recommend using a tripod for anything over 40x. These do not have any image stabilization or some digital crap like that. That’s the beauty of them. This is just a no holes barred raw power binocular. When we got these about 1.5 year ago I was a little skeptical on how well they will perform. I got these in the parking lot on its tripod and I actually saw hiking trails over 30 miles away. Mind you it was a clear sunny California day. I got a pair for my parents house. They live in Palm Springs and the stars at night are unbelievable. We spent at least a couple hours gazing at the stars. Everyone just loved them. I’m thinking of taking a trip to Alaska later this year I will definitely bring these along.
